The Enigma that is Utica

Utica is a puzzler. The city has had many incarnations of minor league hockey. From the AA ACHL and UHL, to the AAA AHL. But the market has always been just a step behind in financial support.

The real question is, will people show up for the single A product? If 2,500-3,000 people could show up to the 4,000 seat Utica Memorial Auditorium, this would be one of the marquee franchises in the league.
